ProjectDX is an online service for communities and property owners interested in reducing their impact on the environment and in working together to restore a more natural balance within their communities. This policy outlines our commitment to protecting your information.

At ProjectDX, your privacy is our chief concern. We understand that you entrust us with your private information to help us refine your property’s footprint analysis and enhance the accuracy of our related estimates, as well as to allow us to match you with third party vendors who can help you to meet your needs in storm-water management, alterative energy solutions and habitat restoration. Under no circumstances will ProjectDX sell or share any personal information about you to or with any person or organization except: as authorized by you, to participating agents or other parties involved in your transaction, or as may be required by law or court order. The Privacy Policy below describes the standards we adhere to in handling information about you, your property, and .your use of the ProjectDX service.

1. Who We Are and What We Do

ProjectDX is an online solutions provider that works with local governments and utilities to provide you with information and alternatives on how you can reduce your impact on the environment, that provides tools and information on what types of sustainable projects appear to be appropriate and feasible for your particular site or property, and which can also connect you with third party vendors to help you finance and implement these sustainable projects. The ProjectDX services are informational in nature and ProjectDX does not provide these vendor services directly to you.

After you submit your information via our web site, at your request, ProjectDX will match your project requirements to local vendors that have indicated that they are qualified and capable of providing the products and services required to finance and/or implement your sustainable projects. We create this connection by emailing your information and a project file to the list of recommended vendors, or to those that you have specifically selected. Your matching vendors will use the information you provided to initiate contact directly with you, to prepare quotes, and to better understand the scope and details of your projects.

ProjectDX does not charge a fee to you to use our service.

2. Information Collected

Personal Information

ProjectDX may prompt a user of the service, depending on the user’s actions and requests, for personal or secure logon information. For example, when a user attempts to store updates to their property characteristics or to save their on-line project files (shopping cart) for later retrieval, ProjectDX will request the necessary information to create or access a password-protected account for that user. And when such an active account user requests the ProjectDX service to release their project files or to make other requests to one or more third-party vendors, the user may be prompted to provide more personal information for the purpose of facilitating such contact with those vendors. Similarly, donors to the ProjectDX Credit For Habitat™ program will be required to provide additional personal information as necessary to document, verify, quantify and receive attribution for their donated credits.
